Another wonderful little sonata by Joseph Haydn, this piece is subtle, brief and charming. The pacing of the piece shows the composer's ability to create dramatic motion out of very simple motifs over a relatively short amount of time. If you've enjoyed the other Haydn sonatas, then you will no doubt be captivated by Sonata 41.
